Tidig luftvärn / Early air defense

Bilderna förevisar kulsprutans användning i luftvärnslägen. Kulsprutan är av vattenkyld modell Schwarzlose m/07 som tillverkades i Österrike Ungern innan och under första världskriget. I svenska armén testades innan världskriget dels denna modell och dels den luftkylda franska Hotchkiss kulsprutan av modell 1900. Slutligen köptes Schwarzlose in och infördes i armén under benämningen kulspruta modell 14 (ksp m/14). Dess användning kom att prövas under olika utbildningar och undersökningar under 1914-1918. 

The pictures are showing the usage of the machine gun in air defence mode. The machine gun is of the water-cooled Schwarzlose m/07 model that was initially made in Austria-Hungary before and during the WWI. Before the WWI the Swedish army tested this machine gun and the french Hotchkiss air-cooled machine gun model 1900. At the end, the choice fell on Schwarzlose which was bought by the military and registered as mg/14. Its usage was later tested in different training courses and test examinations during the period of 1914-1918.
